Hi all, well only today i heard 'through the grapevine' that there is apparently going to be a MAJOR bollywood concert going on in Hyde Park to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema
The one and only (and my favourite ;)) Sharukh Khan will headline this concert along with the beautiful Katrina Kaif.
12 bollywood celebrities are set to perform at this event which i will later put on here as soon as i find out who they are. Some names also mentioned are singers Mika Singh and Shreya Goshal. 6 stars from Star TV Dramas will also make an appearance
Now with being the first bollywood concert in Hyde Park and the large number of celebrities expected to perform it is obvious this is not going to be a free event by any means (unfortunate for us)
The tickets are rumoured to start from £45 going up to a whopping £500. It is set to be a standing event which will of course be held outdoors and its looking to attract 60,000 spectators
29th May report (Biz Asia)
BizAsia can exclusively confirm that Star TV’s ‘Celebrate Bollywood’ event, which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday 10th July has been postponed.
The event, which was due to take place at Hyde Park in London, will now be held later this year. According to our sources at Star TV, ‘Celebrate Bollywood’ will be postponed for about three months. A new date and venue will be announced on BizAsia in the coming weeks.
The main reason for the delay is due to legalties not being cleared in time. However, Star TV has said that stars have been made aware of the date change and will still be performing as planned on the new date and venue.
‘Celebrate Bollywood’ was launched to coincide with 100 years of Indian cinema celebrations. ‘Celebrate Bollywood’ would had been a first for an Indian entertainment event to be held at the iconic Hyde Park.
The broadcaster is now focussing on the launch of Star Plus HD on Thursday 5th July on Sky Digital.
Whichever of you may be interested feel free to RSVP and i will let you know more info as i find it out

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
