Hip House Sweat Dance

Hip House Sweat Dance was created for folks who are not afraid to sweat and shake what their mamas gave them. This Meetup is for folks who love going to concerts and going out to dance. Grown and Sexy (20 somethings, 30 somethings, 40 somethings...don't matter as long as you have swag) people who love to dance to old school (The Roots, DMX , Ja Rule, The Fugees, Ms Jade, lil Kim) and new school (J. Cole, Drake, Kanye, Wiz Khalifa, Niki Minaj, Black eyed Peas) hip hop are a part of this group.

Folks who love deep house, afrohouse, afrolatin, afrobeat dubstep---bass and drums are a part of this group.

People who love R & B and NeoSoul from Beyonce, to Usher, to Jill Scott are a part of this group.

This group is for folks who need to "whip their hair back and forth" after a long work week.

We are hard core music and dance lovers...and whenever we hear the bass we gotta move something. When we go out, we aren't lookin for a hook-up...and we are not there to profile... We just wanna dance.

If you are tired of negotiating with your non-dancing friends or partner about going out to dance....Join this fun meet up. I am looking for a few committed folks who want to start a movement in southeastern michigan.

If you are looking for folks to check out the latest underground (and not so underground) Hip Hop, Neo Soul, "World Music" or House event. Or if your life is so busy that you just want to know what's happening in case you can fit it into your schedule. This meet up is for you.
