Hip Chicks Rule(s)!

Thank you for being a Hip Chick. We hope to meet you and grow the group to form lasting friendships. Thank you for abiding by the below rules; we like everyone to be aware of what is expected of our members.

RSVP Respectfully: If you RSVP "Yes" for an event, please make sure you are showing up. If your plans change and you can no longer make it, please go back and change your RSVP to "No". If it becomes a habit (3 or more) of someone "No Showing" for an event, they will be removed from the group. If you need to cancel last minute, we also ask you call the person who is hosting, or the phone number listed for a contact. Let's respect others and be sure we are showing up if we RSVP "Yes".

Attendance: This is an active group. If you are not active (visiting the meetup site) within a three month period you will be removed from the group.

Event Ideas & Hosting: Have any ideas or suggestions to help the group become a success? Would you like to host an event (either in your home or another place of your choice)? Let us know!

Costs/Dues: There are events that may include a fee and require payment in advance. The cost will be posted in the event information and payment can be made using the method described in the event details. Refunds of any kind will NOT be provided, so be absolutely sure you are commited to attending before you RSVP "Yes".

Profile Pictures: We ask that you post a current picture of yourself when you join the group. This is for member security, to keep out lurkers, and so we can recognize you at meet-ups.

No Drama: If you are having a problem with another member within the group, please be sure to take it off line. This group was formed to have fun. If you do not agree with someone, talk to them personally or an Organizer and not through the message board. This includes issues/concerns you might have about how an event was planned and/or faciliated.

Business Promotions: We are very interested in supporting and promoting each other and our individual buisnesses. If you have a business you would like to promote, this should be done through the message board thread titled "Pitch your Business", by attending one of our Networking Meetup events, or by becoming a Hip Chicks sponsor (see link along the left bar of the site).

Organizer/Hostess Guidelines: Please take a moment to read the TCHC Organizer Guidelines I have put in place. Our organizers are volunteer and I want their experience organizing to be pleasant. I have put these guidelines in place to make their job and mine easier.

All members of Twin Cities Hip Chicks are required to adhere to the rules. You will be notified of any future changes.
