Architecture and Interpretation of the 1759 Vought House

In honor of Christopher Vought's and Hunterdon County's 300th birthday, enjoy a 3-part lecture series around the Vought Family.  In this first lecture, Historical Architect, Michael Margulies, AIA, will discuss the architecture of the Vought House - among the most unique in the United States!  Michael will provide his expert insight as he tours us around the house and grounds, weather and conditions permitting.

This event is free as part of the Hunterdon County Tricentennial Celebration but you must register online because space is limited.  Register at:

Great Lecture! Enough information to give folks an idea of why the Vought House is important & what needs to be done to restore the House to its eventual glory. I think people walked away thinking this house is a treasure! Many comments to that effect.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
