For those of you at a loose end this valentines day (not many of you I'm sure ;) We'll be gathering for a drink in a delightful pub named after one of London's most romantic couples - Victoria & Albert.
Queen Victoria and Albert and were head over heals in love. When he died she wore black for the rest of her life in mourning for him. Many London landmarks were named in his honour.
So we are heading to the Victoria & Albert, just inside Marylebone Station. This beautiful station opened in 1899 and is the smallest of the grand London terminals
Although a station pub doesn't sound very impressive, it is the original station pub, and it's delightful with a nice atmosphere, and they serve real ale.
The pub is located in the corner of Marylebone Station, so super easy to find. Look forward to seeing you there.
