All of the above. I support advocating, educating, and encouraging the preservation of historic structures. Yes, I was trained in the conservation and preservation of museum artifacts at The Henry Ford (Henry Ford Museum) and have assisted in the preservation of historic structures. I am also involved in the preseravtion of historic vehicles, including motorized and non-motorized vehicles.

My name is Derek E. Moore and I am currently the Curator of Transportation History at the Western Reserve Historical Society. I am an avid supporter of historic preservation. My wife and I recently purchased a Shaker Heights home built in 1920.
