Was it the advocate, educate or encourage that prompted you to join?

All three!

Do you have any experiences with Historic Preservation or Restoration?

Yes, Historic Restoration is my specialty.

What do you think of textured ceilings?

There is nothing more elegant than a flat, smooth plastered ceiling. If a ceiling must be textured then it should, at least have a pattern like that of the English Comb.

My name is Mark Orel; I am the owner and carpenter of Alliance Carpentry. The reason I began this group is to Advocate, educate and encourage for the salvation of historic and older homes, buildings and structures. I love old hardware.

What Mark R. O. is saying about this Meetup Group

Historic preservation and restoration is, simply a good building ethic.
