What book are you reading right now? (Doesn't have to be history)

Just finished 'Bloodlands,' by Timothy Snyder, a worldview altering book, I might add. About to begin 'Postwar' by Tony Judt.

What historical reading do you enjoy most? (Topics, points of view, authors, etc.)

I actually have a relatively broad reading base now. More specifically, however, I would like to read some history on the Mideast and Islam which, to say the least, would be very relevant these days.

Where did you hear about the History Reading Circle? (Be as specific as possible)

I am a big fan of Meet-up, and was researching non-fiction, history book clubs....

Introduction

I have always had a strong interest in non-fiction books, primarily science and technology, but find myself becoming more interested in history.
