History Cafe this Thursday

From: Karin M.
Sent on: Monday, March 18, 2013 12:59 PM

This week's History Cafe ought to be a good one! Lorraine McConaghy, MOHAI's public historian, will present her research about the impact of the Civil War in Washington Territory, including more about her new book Free Boy: A True Story of Slave and Master. A reminder that History Cafe is first-come, first-serve, so while we appreciate your RSVP (it gives us an idea of how many people to expect), it isn't really enforced and the best way to guarantee a good seat is to show up early (20-30 minutes is usually sufficient). The Compass Cafe has great food for dinner, as well as beer and wine.
