MOHAI invites you to celebrate the culmination of its community history project, Remembering Century 21, with a special, day-long event hosted at the Seattle Center on Saturday, September 29th.
Re-live Seattle’s 1962 World’s Fair with a variety of presentations, screenings, tours and discussions that explore the legacies of Century 21 through unique perspectives.

Call for Presenters: MOHAI is now accepting proposals for the September 29th Remembering Century 21: A Community Celebration closing seminar, to be held at the Center House on the Seattle Center campus. Potential presentations should clearly demonstrate original historical research on a topic related to the Century 21 Exposition. Preference will be given to submitters who have attended at least one Remembering Century 21 workshop or seminar. Questions should be directed to: Helen Divjak (206) 324-1126, Ext. 30.

About Remembering Century 21
In the spirit of the 50th anniversary of Century 21, MOHAI invites you to explore the memories, memorabilia, and myths of Seattle’s 1962 World’s Fair through a series of free community-wide workshops and seminars. Co-hosted by Seattle Public Library, King County Library System, and the Seattle Center Foundation, this series will teach you the skills needed to discover, document, and share the fascinating history of one of Seattle’s most influential events through the use of personal experiences and collections.
