We know many of you were eager to learn about Seattle's railroads, but due to unexpected scheduling conflicts our railroads topic will be postponed. We hope you will still join us this Thursday for a presentation by historian Lorraine McConaghy about Seattle's history of innovation.
Innovation in Seattle
As historians, we believe that learning about the past makes the present understandable, and helps us make better informed choices for the future.
MOHAI is preparing to open the Bezos Center for Innovation in October and our staff has been thinking hard about what circumstances favor - and disfavor - creativity and invention. So what can we learn from the history of innovation in Seattle? Let's get together. Lorraine McConaghy will set out some ideas to frame our discussion.

When: Thursday, August 15, 2013 7:00 PM
Where: MOHAI Cafe (Museum of History & Industry)
860 Terry Ave. N
Seattle, WA 98109
If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Yes".)
See you this Thursday!
