April's Author Discussion event consists of the perfect combination of author, historical exhibit location and literary discussion lounge.

J. D. Salinger, best known for his controversial novel The Catcher in the Rye (1951), is recognized by critics and readers alike as one of the most popular and influential authors of American fiction during the second half of the twentieth century.

We will meet in front of the Morgan Library at 6:45 pm to enjoy the second installment of the J. D. Salinger letters exhibition followed by drinks and food at nearby Silverleaf tavern.

Friday evenings beginning at 7 pm are free at the Morgan Library.
