Our meetings are sponsored by the Stoll Foundation for Holistic Health (www.stollfoundation.org). Our mission is to improve individual's lives through health education, providing lasting and inexpensive solutions for disease reversal through self-care and healthy lifestyle support (taking into account that conventional medical evaluation may be needed). Among other things, we teach the 3LS (3-Legged Stool) Wellness Program, consisting of Skilled Relaxation, Perfectly Whole Foods Diet, and Right Exercise for you, to reverse chronic illness and create lasting wellness. It's easier to reverse chronic "untreatable" illnesses than many people think. It's also easier to achieve a state of dynamic health that is far beyond what many people understand as health. Our goal is to help you achieve YOUR health goals and enhance your life.
We'd like to invite you to attend our next meetup on Wednesday, November 4, entitled "Are You the Gyroscopic Worker?" If you spend time sitting at a computer or desk, you can learn to work smarter, not harder and produce more with less effort -- all the while safeguarding your health. Our guest speaker Sharon Breay will teach you several low-cost tips to take back to your workspace to improve your productivity, health, and sanity.
We'll be continuing to hold once-a-month mini-seminars/meetings featuring a different speaker each time, and also offer information about how to start and maintain a Wellness Program. At each meeting, come savor our samples of delicious whole foods, and discover low-cost and no-cost resources to support your healthy life. Speakers will teach self-help techniques that you can take home to use. Scheduled dates for 2009 are the first Wednesdays of each month: Nov 4 and Dec 2. In 2010, dates scheduled so far are January 6 and February 3.
Also, at each meeting/mini-seminar, we'll have a table and bulletin board where holistic and alternative practitioners can display their business cards and flyers for networking. We also have a bulletin board with free and low-cost health resources in the community. We'll also take questions for people who have health questions. Anyone in the audience (practitioner or individual) who has experience or training for that issue or problem can share their experience. If there are a lot of knowledgeable people present that night, you may receive a lot of ideas and options to work with!
