It would be helpful to know how you use social media, such as GR *and* Amazon, to score positive reviews and increase sales. For instance, I'm doing a second GR giveaway (for a print book), and even though more than 800 people indicated they want to read my book and I received positive reviews, GR Giveaway hasn't translated into the sales I wanted...even after posting GR's widget on every social media site I'm on. Thanks!

Hi, Catherine! I can talk about giveaways... but you're right, they don't translate into sales, at least not for me, either. The one thing they do accomplish is boosting visibility... And GR sure has some trolls!

Either topic is good for me. I'm slow making my way through the maze of marketing strategies for my ebook and paperback. Any step-by-step plan would be helpful.

Hi! I thought we were discussing Goodreads(what it is and how you can use it as a reader and as an author) instead of ebook marketing in general... Let me know if I'm mistaken... see you soon.
