Introduction

I've been pursuing my love of writing more now since my day job has changed for the better & I have a lot more free time. I'm currently working on 3 projects I'm immersed in: Breaking Big, Zero to Hero & The Porch. Guess my A.D.D. is kicking in!

Can you write a 1,000 to 2,000 word memoir about any period of your life weekly and read it to the group>

Writing has been a dear friend of expression from an early age of discovery. My love of music became prominent in my teens & I diligently pursued it till at age 28, I made an about face & went into the US Navy for a 6 year stint which gave me a wealth of fond memories & material several times over. I started writing poems which evolved into music/lyrics, which I'm still doing. I'm currently immersed in 2 'books' I'm writing. I have lived several lifetimes in these 50 years+ & I'm looking forward to improving my writing in order to elaborate this bevy of journeys thus far. As a firm believer that our thoughts become our reality, nothing would make me happier than to be a full fledged writer. I've also heard it said since I was a boy, "find something you love, do it for a living & never 'work' a day in your life". Writing is that love & though I'm just beginning, I fondly look forward to exploring more! We didn't renew our option with MovieHatch so we're free to pursue it elsewhere.
