Thanks, Gregory and Greg: the presentation really covered all the points to consider for eCommerce, (even some I'd rather forget, tho important to know). And, it's fun to win a prize! Thanks for the apple TV.

Thanks to everyone for coming tonight. We unfortunately had some technical difficulties with the video recording, but I promised I would give you a video and darn-it, I'm going to do so. I'm going to reshoot it to the best of my ability and we will send it over to everyone. Tomorrow, I will send slides over to Greg D, and he will post them for everyone. Have a great night.

I would like to echo Greg M.'s sentiment. Good night tonight and thanks to all that came out... I must take partial responsibility for the technical difficulty tonight and I will help Greg to rerecord the video of his presentation soon and then post it with his slides on hollywoodwp.com... Cheers, Greg

Great event, as usual! Thanks to Greg D. for putting this together, and thanks to Greg M. for a great explanation of not only WooCommerce, but the prep work required to meet the many legal requirements for a commerce site!

    Great Job, Guys!

    Greetings WP Hollywood-

In just a week, I am looking forward to seeing some old friends, meeting some new ones and providing a good baseline of information about WooCommerce and eCommerce in general. For those of you who are just starting out with WordPress it might be a good idea to familiarize yourselves with the following topics:

    1) What a Child Theme is: http://bit.ly/1c4Q9Al
    2) How to create a Child Theme: http://bit.ly/KIulzK
    3) What a WordPress template file is: http://bit.ly/1hkNxhE

Having a baseline familiarity with some of those items will provide some filling to what we are going to be discussing next week. I will see you all there.
