Trick or treat? Masquerading food... Make it look like something else.  (Examples: a cake that looks like a pizza, or mashed "potatoes" made from cauliflower instead)

Optional: Feel free to come dressed in costume, if you'd like to! :)

    Ultimate Fudge Pie

12.3 oz firm tofu (squeezed of excess liquid)
    1 tsp cocoa powder
    1 tsp pure vanilla extract
    2 tablespoons milk of choice
    scant 1/8 tsp salt
10 oz semi sweet chocolate chips (a little over 1 and 1/3c or more)
    2-3 tablespoons honey

Melt the chocolate (either on the stove or in the microwave), then throw everything into a food processor and blend until super-smooth. Pour into a pie crust. Fridge until chilled. This gets firmer and firmer, the longer it sits.

Here's the nacho cheesecake recipe I used (I did substitute some of the candy, and I didn't use the sour cream):

Also, here is the pie crust recipe I used: http://www.marthastewart.com/344292/our-favorite-pie-crust

hello everyone, I am looking forward to Tuesday. I was not able to attend last months meeting. Is the count for 13 pretty accurate? I am making prep for my dish and want to make sure I am making enough. Of course I am making a couple extra, but that is more in case of mistakes. Just trying to make sure I have enough. :)

Fan-tastic...rather have fall off vs increase. I will be bringing something sweet, my savory didn't come together in time. As far as libations, are they welcome?

Are kids allowed to attend? This sounds very fun.

Oh! Thanks for the explanation. I thought it would be marinated mozzarella balls to look like eye balls, etc.

I would love to attend, but do not understand the theme?

This is definitely a challenging theme. Some other examples are: "pasta" made with spaghetti squash or ribbons of zucchini instead of real pasta, cupcakes that look like cones of ice cream, etc.

Really looking forward to this one. Already working on the recipe. One savory and sweet.
