HOME BIRTH to be featured at the Huntington Women's Wellness Fair at Pullman Square on Saturday!

We are excited to announce that this Saturday, May 16th, there will be a Women's Wellness Fair in Huntington from 11 am to 3 pm at Pullman Square (located on 3rd Ave. between 9th and 10th street E). The WV Friends of Midwives group is sponsoring a table with all kinds of birth, breastfeeding, and Natural Mothering handouts. Many of our other friends will have tables, too. Please visit our table, mingle, ask questions, and invite more friends.

The following Thursday, May 21st, Sue Hovemeyer is sponsoring a "Film Night" at her home. Have you all seen The Business of Being Born yet? We will meet at her home at 1256 Mullins Branch Rd., Huntington, WV 25701. Contact: Sue Hovemeyer, homebirth midwife at 304-638-2647.

Finally, we are considering launching a NEW Huntington Home Birth Meetup - please help us spread the word, and together we can support more home birthers in our region.
