Please join us for the February edition of our monthly Homebirth Meetup, Saturday the 28th at 4:00pm. Sarah DeGroff has graciously offered to host at her beautiful home in Eleanor, and this month’s featured topics include unassisted birthing and the role of government moderation in birthing practices. We’ll be featuring the discovery channel documentary “Freebirthing” and look forward to a rousing discussion and debate following the (approximately 40 minute) film.

Feel free to bring a snack to share as we have a chance to hear amazing birth stories, make new friends, connect with each other, and support our common passion for birth. As always, nursing babies are welcome to attend.

On a separate note, don’t forget to check out the Sunday February 15th edition of the Charleston Gazette as it features articles detailing the amazing experiences of our very own Trebor Sutler and Angy Nixon!

The more I come to these meetings I find myself more and more interwoven with women who have such inspiration, wisdom and joy to give. I always leave refreshed. It seems almost like a haven or place to help one heal as if surrounded by healing hands and words. Sarah's house was so warm and welcoming.
