That was so much fun. It was good to see how someone manages the bees without being totally nit-picky. Very freeing.

Fantastic. We hiked to the top of a hill - it looked like the land of milk and honey! Rob and Chelsea once again charmed with their passion, enthusiasm and knowledge. I enjoyed every minute of it, and left very happy!

As a beginner, I was very pleased with the content, and comfortable around the bees. Great group!
Thanks to Rob, Chelsea, Kirk, and Ceebs!

I am bringing my wife. I have the beekeeper head piece and will wear gloves long sleeves and pants. Will it be possible for my wife to use a head piece? She will do the same.

I'll be there w/my husband. We're new and have been observing the bees at our house, researching how to transfer them to a hive box. We have ONE veiled jacket between us and would like to borrow a bee suit.

We'll do the best we can. We have a big crowd coming this week (yay!) but a finite number of suits. I have an extra that I will bring, and I encourage the other established beeks to do the same if possible. Thanks!

    • Chelsea M.

I don't think so - we just did for our last workshop. We can walk you through how to do it if you come though!

Hello. I do not have any of the equipment to attend. Where could I be able to purchase them and how much? thanks.

Hey Roger. We do have some extra suits, gloves and veils on hand for you to use. If you're keen to have your own and are serious about becoming a beekeeper, there are several online sites and a local store, L.A. Honey.

That sounds great because I will need to borrow one. Thanks

    I too will be needing a suit. I am 5' 7" and 180 lbs.
    Will one be available?

    January 3, 2013

    • ceebs

Should be no problem, Joe. Wear jeans, a long sleeve tee and shoes that will give you solid footing in the dirt.
