Our hive was recently attacked by an army of ants. We stopped the attack by setting the hive on a table with feet set into cans of motor oil. The bees left the honey alone but destroyed the brood. The remaining bees are rebuilding comb but there are no eggs and no sign of a queen. I would like to purchase a frame or two of brood from someone to rebuild this colony. Perhaps they will grow a queen if theirs is gone. Advice will be greatly appreciated.
