Dear Hong Kong Screenwriters' Circle member,

For those who missed last week's ScriptClub! the two most frequent recurring problem with scripts the script reader noted were the story begins too late in the script and the scenes are void of meaningful conflict.

Please join us at this week's ScriptClub! on 8 March (Saturday) from 16:00 to 17:30 at Caffe Habitu at Hutchison House.

We'll discuss this year's Oscar winners John Ridley's TWELVE YEARS A SLAVE (Best Adapted Screenplay) and Spike Jonze's  HER (Best Original Screenplay).

To receive the post-meeting links to insightful resources, RSVP (and attend!) .  Also, please arrive early so you have time to get coffee or something before we begin.  See above for directions.

We look forward to seeing you there.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
