I have an idea. Since this group of Librarians are such a tight group of (mostly) friends (after all we spent a month together every day), let's honor our dead by giving them a wall of memory!

Let's think of something funny to remember the Smith by. Next session we'll create a page and write him permanently onto it, alongside the other Librarians that will eventually join him in afterlife.

Great idea, man! We did bury him, but it'd be great to have a memorial

Hi all, I was just looking at the Crawl fanzine and found their new classes are user-created and user-voted. They're actually free at: http://www.goodman-games.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=42312 , check them out. Ranger looks really good.

Good morning, my girl refused to sleep at decent hour, so here's 3 options for Sat.

    1) Players as 1 group wrap last adv. & roleplay (RP) embarking on chars individual paths of advancement. My least preferred as it'll involve a lot of talking 1-on-1 in group setting, but if most prefer, I've no problem. May not involve actual go-into-mortal-danger adventuring; this'd be mapless level up session only.

    2) Group as whole wraps up adv. Those who qualify do limited level up (gain hit points/maybe some but not all powers); then training interrupted as emergency calls them in to work as group again to quell threat = to their skills. Not an epic adventure obviously, but specific troubleshooting.

    3) Whole group wraps adv. Then players split into groups of 2-3 based on chars w/ similar paths (fighter/mage etc.) While some work on Lv1 char sheets, choosing powers etc, others RP small tests/adv re: new fields. (I rotate through room) Hybrid of options 1 & 2

Let me know what you'd like.

Haha; at this point, I'll plan for 3), but I'll hold (2) in reserve as a plan B just in case.

Hello all, sorry for the late RSVP. I've been grappling with the agenda for the coming wks, & wanted to wait until I'd figured it out before posting.

I've been reviewing the online tools at our disposal & have yet to come up with a 1-stop solution; My site is not ready for prime time; there are some good PBForum places with nought else, and I've got a premium "Roll20" account from a kickstarter I backed but it takes some prepwork to get ready to easily use. I'll come up with a good online RP solution in the next wk or so hopefully so our between session RP can go smoothly.

As for Sat., I have 2-3 ideas on how best to proceed. I have to run on child errands now, but will post my ideas tonight & let attendees choose. I'm hoping to keep timing tight on Saturday's session so we can finish by 4 or 5 at the latest too. In my scant free time, I've been prepping a lot to give your chars options to grow; sorry communication's been lacking. Will post options for Saturday tonight. Thx.

Maybe you should also consider delegating some work to players.

      I agree with Chris

Hi, just in case my class choice affects others, I'll probably have Nigel the Neenga end up as a warrior based on his stats. This was based on advice from the group. I got the Beta rules and I'll set that up when I got time.

Nice! We could use a lot of warriors. Thieves could also come in handy. As well as mages. And clerics. Actually, we need a party that runs the whole gamut of classes.

      March 14, 2013

    • Chris L.

Clerics are tricky cuz of the alignment thing... You can only have clerics from the same alignment in a party at any given time.

Hmmm that promised online forum can come about anytime now. *taps foot and peeks @watch*

So, anybody chosen their character's classes yet?

    March 6, 2013

    • Chris L.

Lilliana: "Well, I've avenged my sister, so my purpose as an adventurer is done. I'll pass the ring onto Blake. He'll give it away to some1 who needs it's protection when he sees someone with potential. That's what Lilith would've wanted. And I'll do what she'll want of me -- to have a good and peaceful life and make use of my education. Maybe I'll become a librarian."

So...Is this the confirmed date for the session? Has DM John (we really need a better way to differentiate between our two Johns) confirmed it yet?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
