Honolulu Adventures Club Message Board › Sailing update
First off a shout out to our new members this week. We have not only crossed the 200 barrier, but are now up to 210, amazing! Also thanks to everyone leaving us great reviews on our past meetups, its nice to see nothing but 5 stars on every event. As always, you can also send me any feedback you have directly if there is anything we can do better.
Our two sailings last weekend were pretty amazing. A few people bailed out on the Friday night sail due to the threat of rain (you know who you are), but we were really lucky and didn't get rained on at all. We saw 2 humpback whales breach only a few yards off our boat, that was quite a sight, in addition to a great view of fireworks! On Saturday, we had a really nice day sail with lots of sunshine, but no whale sightings that day, as we took a slightly more South West route than usual.
This weekend's sail on Sunday is looking good, with about average tradewinds, and no rain in the forecast. We are already full and with a waitlist, but I expect I have a few more slots to open up tonight.
Important: If you are on the wailist, I will contact you directly by Friday morning and give you until the end of day to sign-up and secure your spot. After Friday at 6pm, I will open up any remaining spots to the entire group on a first come / first served basis since the last few times I opened up the waitlist and they couldn't come.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
