911 Freedom Walk and Concert 2006

UNITED WE STAND ? IN HONOR WE WALK!

Operation Homefront Sacramento whose mission is to provide emergency services to military families in Northern California and its allied organizations are proud to announce Freedom Walk and 911 Memorial Concert 2006.

The Memorial Concert will feature our local musical artists, inspirational themes of choir and vocal renditions in tribute to our veterans and area?s first responders. The program will begin at 7:00 PM and conclude with a candle light walk through the park at 9-9:30 PM. While it is our goal to spend the evening honoring you and your peers, we would be honored if you would consider leading our candle light walk.

On this day, throughout the country, in venues large and small, citizens will gather to participate in 9/11 Memorial Freedom Walks. The act of walking together as a nation will be unique in design and execution, uniting our citizens behind a commitment to never forget the lives we lost in the attacks on our country.

9/11 Freedom Walk and Memorial Concert will renew our commitment to freedom and our nation?s unique values. It will honor our firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, veterans past and present. It is non-partisan and non-political. The candle light walk will serve as a symbol of our nation's diversity and unity of spirit. Your participation would go a long way towards etching this special remembrance in the young minds that will be present with their families.
