Gonna get some boardgame play in eventually. Looks like more "off-centre" games played here that will appeal to my inner nerd.
Ones that are enhanced with alcohol. :P Or games where silliness isn't counterproductive. Outside of that, strategy vs. random is preferred, though randomness has it's place (helpful when toddler is in tow).
A nice way to share a laugh and enjoy some mental "stimulation".
Welcome to Top Notch Fun!!! We are going to have tons of fun. I hope you can make it to our very first meet, which is the adventure walk by the American River. If you ever have any questions or ideas I would love to hear from you.
Great to see you. see you next time
HI! And thanks for introducing me to gamer's Grind. If you get a chance--what was the name of the carcasonne-like game you and Scott were playing when I first arrived?
rodney thanks for joining Nor *Cal Hikers. i am with you on the small groups thing. i started this club just so i could get just one or two other friends out with me and it has turned into this. i think it has evolved quite nicely.
while we are obviously expanding our member count, i have yet to be on a hike with more than 8 NCH hikers. well a couple outings with a herd, but those were not NCH affiliated hikes....
Thanks for hiking with us Rodney up here in Nor Cal. Come join us again when you get a chance.
nice job leading the hike yesterday! a situation that could have gotten fubar turned into a great hike!
