Introduction

My Wife and I are new Parents, still fairly new to the area and have realized all work and no play is just friggin' boring! So we started this group of like-minded beer fans to get together every month for many laughs and many beers! JOIN UP!!!

Strangest brew you've ever drank/heard of?

La Fin du Monde - by Unibrau, a Canadian beer. That sucker was like 13.9% alcohol! 2 or 3 and you're about done -- but very tasty stuff, too.

What's your favorite watering hole in town?

Elk Grove Sports Bar & Grille, Streets of London in Midtown, the Purple Place in Folsom, Copper Rhino in Modesto, Brandenburg's in Stockton, the Grogg in Fresno. So many pubs, so little time.

Would you be interested in Road Tripping to an out of town beer festival?

Most definitely. Hops in Humboldt is awesome, and I've heard there's one in Anderson Valley that rocks. "Suds in the City" in Fresno is a great one too. But I definitely want to find some new ones as well.

What's your favorite brew and what beer makes your stomach turn?

Favorite: That's a toss up between Blue Moon Belgian White and Steelhead Pale Ale. Least favorite: Budweiser. Horrible, horrible stuff. "Put it back in the horse" as my Grandmother always said.
