Welcome to Heal.
I have started this group because I want to be able to give people the opportunity to be able to meet up with other people who also may be currently going through mental health difficulties or life crisis, have a diagnosed mental illness or who can just relate to feelings of stress, emotional ups and downs, anger, anxiety, low self esteem, depression or low mood.
Mental pain can be sometimes difficult for people to talk about or understand, this can then sometimes make people feel even more alone and isolated. So this group is intended to bring people together in a relaxed and informal environment to simply get out of the house, have a chat with people or to just be with others or have a coffee together. There will be no pressure on people to have to talk about there life situations or difficulties but if people want to talk then it is a opportunity to be able to talk amongst others who can relate and listen without judgement.
This group is not in any way intended as therapy but more of a relaxed social meet up with like minded people, so you can feel less alone and have the chance to make social connections with others. You may want to be able to share ideas of hope and encouragement to others from personal experience's.
I am hoping this group can be a bit of light at what can seem like a very dark and long tunnel for people some times in there life. Lets heal together and not be alone.
