Welcome to House on the Rock fellowship!

We are a home fellowship of believers who believe in Messiah Yeshua (who incidentally, is Jewish). We believe that Yeshua did not abolish the Torah (instruction) of Moshe (Moses) BUT perfectly kept the Torah to be Himself the spotless lamb and eternal atonement for ALL who repent and believe.

As the living Torah, Yeshua also demonstrated in His life the full and perfect intent of HaShem's (G-d's) Torah (instruction) separated from the distortions for which Yeshua rebuked the p'rushim (pharisees) for by these traditions they actually nullified the word of G-d.

Yeshua lived the Torah and 'fulfilled all righteousness' NOT to set the Torah aside so that we can now live unrighteous i.e. apart from His Torah (instruction).

As disciples of Messiah we therefore endeavor to keep all of God's instructions (Torah) as we walk hard after Him. This faithful obedience to Torah does NOT merit salvation; it is, we believe a manifestation of our salvation. That is faithful obedience is the fruit of all those that are 'born of G-d'.

We do NOT believe that those who do not understand this are lost as Messiah said:

"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 5:19

Therefore, as we see these commands as the standard of God's righteousness and Messiah as the prophet like unto Moshe (Moses) Deut. 13;18. We keep all of his commandments that may be kept outside Israel, without a temple, the priesthood of Aaron, and a community of elders in place (Beit Din).

We meet every first Shabbat (sabbath) to read the annual Torah cycle and discuss. To grow in our understanding of Messiah as revealed in the Hebrew scriptures and to know our roots. We seek to understand the scriptures in their proper context. As Bereans, we do not want any to take our word for it .. As Messiah said:  "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." John 5:39

Shalom U'vracha, (Peace and Blessings)
B'shem Yeshua Meshicheinu, (In the name of Yeshua our Messiah)

"The mincha and worship service was very well put together. I especially liked the torah portion discussion because there was a lot of interweaving of other Jewish sources, which helped with my understanding and brought the scriptures to life for me."
