Introduction

Hi folks. I have two great pooches, a Corgi and a Beagle mix.

What area of Houston do You and Your Dog live? How did You and Your Dog find each other?

SW aka Westbury - We bought The Sinster from a neighbor, and we adopted Dixie-Doo from the SPCA.

What General breed or mix is Your Dog? If you're not sure - give a guess, we're NOT being picky! What's your dog's name?

Cindy is a tri-color Corgi, and Dixie is a good ol' dawg (beagle mix).

Which are You and Your Dog's favorite Dog Parks? Do you visit the large or the small dog part of the parks? Favorite Dog-Friendly taverns, restaurants and/or establishments?

We go to the Bark Park on Westpark. I would love to learn about some more friendly restaurants.

What is Your Dog's favorite social activity?

Dixie loves to chew on bones and sit pretty. She loves to romp with sister Cindy. Cindy also loves to chew (on DIXIE!), but she also fetches her rope toy and yips at anything and everything. Cindy is my daughter's guinea pig for agility training.

Are there any special considerations which Members need to be aware of when socializing with Your Dog?

We had an aggressive border collie until November when she bit me. Both dogs were also attacked before we had to give up trying to work with her. I haven't put them together with other dogs recently. We will see!
