ALSO, A WORD OF CAUTION ON THESE URBAN BAYOU HIKES: WILD ANIMALS MAY BE LESS OF A RISK BUT HUMAN ANIMALS ARE NOT, ESPECIALLY THE ONES THAT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF VALUABLES LEFT OUT ON THE OPEN IN YOU CARS OR WHO SEE YOU PUTTING THEM IN YOUR TRUNK. SO PLEASE DON'T BRING VALUABLES AND IF YOU DO, TAKE THEM WITH YOU ON THE HIKE.

The Hike: From the parking lot for the Fuddruckers near Thomas R Wussow Park we walk along the south side of the bayou westward till we get to Veteran's Memorial Dr where we switch to the north side heading eastward and head back to Fuddruckers at Greens Rd. For the planned route map: CLICK HERE.

Gathering Place: Park at the parking lot for Fuddruckers and other business' near the intersection of Northchase Dr and Greens RD. We will walk from here to the bayou next door.
