Welcome to the Mystical World of the Divine Dragonfly!

If you are interested in having a good time while making a difference in your life and networking for success - This is the Meetup group for you. The Dragonfly stands for living / speaking your truth.

We endeavor to share positive energy and help each other & the world through positive and reaffirming actions, dialogues and adventures. (More info below on future plans.) The primary focus is to get acquainted - introduce ourselves - network for success in our individual endeavors - have fun - share a meal - and learn new holistic healing practices and information.

Each month we will put into action: Believe - Release- Express Gratitude- Receive - and Manifest Your Intentions. We will join together as equals to speak our truth and support each other as we dare to live the life we desire.

All areas of our lives will come into play: our jobs, families, creative pursuits, what it takes to really be happy, what does success mean to each of us and more. Not as group therapy - as a constructive way for us to receive tools we can use for the rest of our lives. There will be guest speakers to cover topics of interest. We will take an occasional Day Trip. Our meetings will generally be held once a month on Sunday or Saturday from 2pm-5:30pm.

We'll enjoy ourselves while we're learning new & better ways to manage our lives on our terms.

Some of our Meetup's will be day trips around the Greater Houston area including St. Francis of Assisi Wolf Refuge near Conroe. I encourage you to visit their website: stfrancisofassisiwolfrefuge.com to see the wonderful work they are doing on a volunteer / nonprofit basis with these abused and abandoned wolves. And please donate if you feel led to do so.

Special Events at the Houston Museum of Natural Science & Fine Arts, limited showings of foreign movies at the River Oaks Theater on West Gray, Jewelry Making Parties, Stand up Comedy Parties, and Wild Horse Taming by the Horse Whisperer, & Poetry Readings as examples. We'll attend local plays together (group discount), meet at a restaurant before hand and finish with dessert & discussion close to the location of the play.

I encourage any member looking for a job to bring their resume' with contact information. You will have 2 minutes to introduce yourself & describe your job experience and what you are looking for = Then 2 minutes to answer any questions from the group.

All members will have 2 minutes to introduce themselves and network their business or explain the things they have brought for "Show & Sell". These are tough times and we are going to support each other as we endeavor to move forward.

As a small business owner, I look forward to learning about your business, services, and products. We will share marketing information also. Business people will be encouraged to bring their biz cards/brochures and give a 2 minute Introduction of themselves at most of our meetings.

Anyone who is creative & would like to "Show & Sell" their photos, art work, jewelry, candles, etc. will be allowed to setup a small table at our meetings. I got my start at a couple of home parties in the same week in 1991 So I know that sometimes it just takes the opportunity to get "out there" with your products.

Each meeting (unless it is a day trip) will be a "Pot Luck" & everyone will bring something they enjoy eating to share. I usually bring a main dish like Taco Soup so if you are a Vegetarian, you might want to bring something you can eat & want to introduce to the "Carnivores"!

danceofthedivinedragonfly.com is still under construction but it's got all of my classes and parties on it. All of the Manifestation Jewelry is one of a kind & at least 1/2 off retail. All of our products are created here in the Greater Houston area. (I would really appreciate any critiques or comments as this is my first website. So please visit it and let me know what you think!)
but the meet

All of our get togethers have been very successful: providing information & services not usually found at this type of venue. The food has been terrific and the socializing has been both stimulating and at times - hilarious!

We always meet at CenterPoint located in the Spring Branch area: 1920 Hollister, Houston, Texas 77080. It is between Long Point and Hammerly. My shop - the Celestial Emporium is located there and I am open Thurs.-Sunday 11am to 6pm (except on meetup dates) and by Appointment - 713/409-3730. We have Pheromone Perfume Potion Parties for Men & Women every Sat. & Sunday 6:30-9pm. Reservations are required for these parties. (For more information go to Dance of the Divine Dragonfly.com.)

We grow stronger as individuals thru new friendships with like minded people. Everyone is really looking forward to the opportunity to get together. So if you are looking for a positive and uplifting time- I welcome you.
