Meetup Series: The Psychological Roots of Clutter
We’re launching a new series of meetups that will explore the psychology of clutter from a practical perspective. We’ll dig into the emotions and patterns of thinking that sabotage our ability to get or stay organized. We’ll examine the costs of cluttering behaviors and the benefits of change, and we’ll try out new mental approaches to old clutter problems.
This month: The Perception of Value
Each month, we’ll investigate different habits of thought and action. For our February meeting, we’ll look into the perception of value—how we assign value to our stuff or our information, and why our notions of perceived value create problems in our physical surroundings.
As usual, we’ll open the floor to your questions, success stories, and tales of trouble spots.
We’ll have refreshments, and don’t forget the drawing for a door prize or two! (You must be present to win.)
