Hi all - I hope your summer has been fun (despite the unrelenting heat) and you are ready to come talk about your clutter issues again. Last meetup we spent some time getting to know each other, so this meeting it's down to business.
First, I want to check in with the group to see who did something new about handling their mail after our last meeting. Then I want to talk about the best way to sort your piles. We have all heard of the idea "OHIO" or Only Handle It Once. That idea works really well if your space is already organized, but it only jams up the works if your space is cluttered. For a cluttered space, you have to handle things a few times because they have to go through a few sorts. Sorting in stages helps you get past being overwhelmed, prevents you from getting stuck midway through, and lets you actually complete the sorting. What a concept! So we're going to talk about sorting in stages for any room in the house, and send you home with a new plan to tackle some old piles.
Hope to see you there!

P.S. Thanks to those who contributed a small donation last meetup to help cover snack costs.
• You’d like to invite the new neighbors over for dinner, but you’ve lost track of the dining room table.
• You bought a birthday card for your favorite niece, but you can’t find it, so you run to the store to buy another...two days late.
• You’re ready to get organized, so you buy $100 worth of filing supplies. Before long, the new office supplies are buried under a couple of weeks’ accumulation of junk mail.
Clutter saps your energy and keeps you from getting what you want. Are you ready to get rid of the clutter in your home or workplace, but you don’t know where to start? Or maybe you’ve made progress, but your decluttering project is stalled?
