Introduction to Clojure, Scala and mostly Erlang

Jeremey Barrett (@jeremey) will be presenting an introduction to Clojure, Scala and (mostly) Erlang at this month's functional programming meetup. He originally gave this talk to the Houston startup community in October 2013.

If you (or a friend!) have been interested in learning one (or more) of these languages, please come to our next meetup!

People of all experience levels and programming backgrounds are welcome to attend.

Food at 6:30; talk starts around 7.

I'm really sorry to say this, but I won't be able to make it. I've got a job interview in Austin, and I couldn't make it work with the meetup. Such are the priorities of a job hunter! Hope I can watch the Live Streaming thing.

We have meetings every month and we'll try to do the Live Streaming thing again this month, so you could watch it later if you like.

Live streaming would be great. Have a scheduling conflict and won't be able to make it, but would be able to watch from home...

I just moved to the U.S. and I'm really happy to have found this group. Looking forward for the meetup.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
