Medina for TX Comptroller Meet & Greet/Q & A/Open Forum (Shenandoah, TX)

The Medina for Texas Comptroller is looking for business owners and/or managers of small to medium sized businesses in or near Montgomery County (and adjacent counties) who in their course of conducting operations have had interactions with the current State Comptroller's Office. We're especially interested in speaking with those business owners who have had negative interactions with that office at any time. The exact industry of your business is less important than the fact that you've had a concern, issue or problem or even just questions of the Texas Comptroller's Office, which have not been addressed to your satisfaction by the current administration.

Even if you are not a business owner, PLEASE feel free to come and listen in and voice any questions or concerns you might have about the Office of Comptroller. Having heard from many Wharton County businesses, as well as those from all parts of the state, in her years as Wharton County Republican Party Chair and in her subsequent run in 2010 for Texas Governor, Ms. Debra Medina often listened to stories of frustration due to lack of staff knowledge, outdated methods on routine data input, etc., in the Texas Comptroller's Office as to resolving basic issues that the Office should have handled more swiftly and correctly.

On the foundation of accountability and transparency, Ms. Medina would like to meet with you on Sunday, January 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Spring Creek BBQ, 19099 IH 45 Frontage Rd., Shenandoah, TX 77385, to address any concerns you have about the Office of Comptroller and how it affects your business or those with which your company has interactions.

This is a meet & greet / Q & A / Open Forum. The location is in Shenandoah due to Ms. Medina's prior commitment in League City at 6 p.m. that evening. But she may be able to work with you on the phone or at a meeting at another date & time if you or your representative cannot make it to Spring Creek BBQ on Sunday, January 19 but you would still like to bend her ear.

If you'd like, come a little early and enjoy lunch at your leisure. If you or someone in your company or someone you do business with is interested in this event, please contact Lynda at[masked] (cell, *voice calls* only) or at [masked] .
