Sounds like the beginning of the end of this effort, with all of this bickering.

I'll admit to being a little confused about the origins of this group, but after all, I thought it was a coming together of like-minded individuals sharing ideas. All that matters to me is that the Congress change direction away from fascist-based ideas and go back to the Constitution. The only way I can see that happening is to get rid of the incumbents and put some new people in...and if they don't do it right, get rid of them.

I appreciate the efforts of anyone who contributes in any positive way to that end.

I could not agree more my friend. It's a shame that all of this energy is being wasted on internal bickering, instead of being trianed against the fascist BULLS**T that this current administration, and it's leftist lackeys are trying to get away with foisting on We The People!

There's a passage in The Good Book that goes "My people perish for lack of Wisdom" Truer words I have nerver heard! People....WAKE UP!!! Instead of bickering amongst ourselves, let's focus on what's really IMPORTANT..and that's LIBERTY, FREEDOM, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, and THE RULE OF LAW!! We were founded as a REPUBLIC! That means that we are governed by THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE..NOT the whims, and beliefs of an elitist few, who've appointed themselves as the collective conscience of the people, and believe it their sole quest to "Save us from ourselves"

We need to UNITE and MOBILIZE our forces against this very REAL THREAT to our freedom, and that of our future generations! The OBAMINATION is exactly that, a very dangerous and well organized group of Statists, whose sole agenda is the destruction of our Republic, and the establishment of a globalist, socialist police state, that will make personal liberty, individuality, and private property equal to mortal sins, and thus move against those quintessential American values, in favor of creating a society of compliant drones, to further their statist agendas.

America is under siege, and if we are to preserve and defend our way of life, then the time to ACT is NOW!! To continue bickering and fighting amongst ourselves at this critical juncture, would be like opening the door to the creation of AMERIKA, and the complete collapse of our beloved republic. Reflect on this my friends, but don't be long, because every minute that is wasted on trivial bickering, or inaction...is another nail in the coffin of our Rights, Freedoms, and Liberties.

God Bless America! God Bless Texas! De Oppresso Liber!

We want to work with people, but want to make sure there's continuity. We also thank you for clarifying your name :)

I will still attend the Tea Party tomorrow in Jones Plaza, but am somewhat disheartened by the petty power-plays going on here. It reminds me of the way the Demiocratic Party behaved back in the 70's & 80's. Remember their "Vote-with-me-on-this-single-issue-or I'll-never-support-you" mentality? That's one of the reasons, I moved toward the right on most issues that matter.

I really like and appreciate the opinions of Dale Robertson & the guy in the Guy Falkes mask. Read and re-read what they say and let's hit Jones Plaza tomorrow with a bit of unity.

Shout the truth and they will listen!

I regret that I must make a comment here. I have been working on resolving the bickering for a while and as time moves forward it only intensifies, because I cannot be everyplace at once. Anyone who does their due diligence will find that I'm the founder of the Tea Party. We are only touching the surface of the people here in Houston and it is a sad day that we are on the same side, fighting the same enemy and yet we are dividing up something we do not own. While I have the legal rights to Houston Tea Party and the Tea Party, you cannot own the soul of another man. I have not seen the need to make myself public because I'm not significant. I'm just a person. Yes, I have done many great things but that means nothing if I lose sight of who I am. I'm a patriot. I love my country and I do not think people should try to constrain one another. I've learned a long time ago that power loves conflict. Look at the conflict in Iraq, who benefited from it economically. I would say those closest to the Whitehouse benefited greatly. That is why I did not choose a for profit entity, but chose a non-profit entity. I believe I'm the only one in any meet up group that is registered with the State of Texas as a non-profit. I can provide that vail of protection for all at no charge, but in the spirit of unity. Will you continue to skirt the legal responsibilities of incorporating or setting up a non-profit. Then the liability you bear will be personal. Please stop the insanity of seeking power you will be mezmerize by its hold on you. Many good people do horrible things because they think they are right or have rights. Truth seeks value. I see value in each of us and believe we will get this right or we all will suffer.

If you have not done due diligence then let is be known that some local organzations here in houston are improperly collecting donations. I would like to see how you will do your taxes. I could bring this to light with a call, but would not do this to my ally. Our enemy has far more power than we currently have at our disposal. So please stop the bickering and lets work together. I want us to work together. I've spoke with Aaron who owns this site and we are working for the same goals (i.e. working together and not trying to sabatoge each other). If you do not want to work together then let by gone be by gone and good luck in your endeavors.

This thread has concerned me since its beginning. It is disruptive and is accomplishing nothing except to put doubts in the minds of the membership over our long-term future. Any time a large group of people grab hold of an idea and try to organize around it, there are going to be differences of opinion. I.E. Any organization has growing pains. These 'pains', however, should be handled privately and not in public as is happening here.

I strongly encourage the 'players' to contact each other PRIVATELY and work out their differences. These issues can and will be resolved. So. . .

I don't want to be a tyrant but sometimes tough decisions have to be made, therefore, his thread is closed.
