The 2012 Texas Motorcycle Safety Forum brings together riders, researchers, motorcycle training instructors, educators, and representatives from state and local law enforcement, public health, and government agencies to identify current motorcycle safety issues, discuss the impact of existing programs, and formulate new strategies for reducing the likelihood of motorcycle crashes, injuries, and fatalities in Texas. Special thanks to the Texas Transportation Institute's Center for Transportation Safety.
Conference Registration Online registration will be available through 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. There is no charge for this conference.

PeggyLinda and I meet at Mancuso on 290 at 7:15 and met Kim in Navasota at 8:15. Was cold riding up to Bryan but great riding back. At 7 in the morning those heated seats in the car would have felt great but would have regretted the decision coming back. Bike was the best option. The Forum was extremely informative. I learned about existing motorcycle law, possible laws being looked at in the future and more on motorcycle safety. There was a good cross section of people from federal, state, county and local government agencies as well as clubs and private entities. Each brings a different perspective so there was a great mix of information. It was a day well spent.
