Oh the Italian Festival is such a great event!!! I usually volunteer at it every year, but couldn't this year. I hope some of you might go - you can photograph the dancers and the pizza dough throwers and have some of the best sfingi and cannoli ever. :-)!

There is the Italian Festival this weekend also.  I have never been --- just heard about it on the radio this morning.

if anyone was thinking of doing Wings over Houston the weekend of the 23rd I noticed that they have some sort of photographers special.  It's a bit pricey at $75 per person or something but apparently gives access to a special tent for taking photo's from.  more info here: http://www.wingsoverhouston.com/woh_tickets_mn.htm#photopit

There doesn't appear to be much in terms of festivals coming up, other than the Ren Fair.

Is this only happening this weekend Jerry? That's extremely short notice. Maybe she'll allow us to do it later in the month or is this just a one time thing?

On Saturday Oct 2nd at 7pm, a group of Horror lovers is putting on a Zombie Walk. Details are on Facebook here:

I talked to Mandy (The organizer) and she would love to have some photo coverage.

Ok, guys... everyone knows that it has been a while since we've gone out and actually done some shooting as a group. Next month is a light month for me with car shows, so I would like some ideas from everyone on what we could get together and shoot so that I can set up a meetup. I'll be available on Saturdays October 9 - 23rd.

I'll be at a car show picnic on Sunday the 24th in town, which we could use as a meetup to shoot vehicles, but I know that may not be what some of you want to do.

It will be Halloween time, so maybe some Halloween themed ideas would work as well. Anyone have any contacts at any of the local haunted houses? Maybe we could offer a trade to one of them if they let us in during the day to shoot them in makeup. Thoughts?
