Workshop: Introduction to Underwater Scuba Photography

  • Mar 22, 2014 · 12:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Photographing stuff under water can be loads of fun. And cheap waterproof cameras make it a hobby just about anyone can get into.  But that 10-gallon fish tank can only hold so much stuff, sometimes you have to go BIG.

Only problem is the whole having-to-breath issue.  :)

This workshop will be held at Gigglin' Marlin Dive Shop.  It will provide an introduction to underwater scuba diving and photography.  The workshop will last about 1 to 1.5 hours and is limited to 8 people.

This event will fill up very quickly.  Please join the waiting list. Hopefully for each additional 8 people we get signed up, we can do another class.

Bring your GoPro or other waterproof camera.  If you don't own a camera, the dive shop has 4 cameras -- so you will likely have to share with someone else. For those that need to share cameras, please bring an SD and/or MicroSD card so you can take pictures home with you.

Also, bring your favorite bathing suite, something skimpy.

Please read the RSVP and PAYMENT FAQs before posting a question/comment.

Would my Ikelite housing and dual DS-160's be overkill?

Not at all. If I had them, I'd bring them myself.

Unfortunately I had already setup another meetup for tomorrow :( Would have been nice to make sure Gigglin didn't mess up my dive gear when they serviced it.
