Its Alphabet Soup Time!
August 29th is the late Michael Jackson's birthday, so let's do the ABC photography contest! This is an opportunity to beat the heat while exercising and expanding your creative photography eye!
For this project, you simply find letters of the alphabet in everyday objects. Two arches make an "M". A bike tire makes an "O". You get the idea. Deadline to complete your set is Michael Jackson's Birthday, August 29th.
UPDATE 8-8-2012: The ABC Photo Directory has been created! So you can start posting NOW! Remember post all your letters in Alpha order, all at once, no gaps please. Winner will be the person with the most comments on their "A" letter. So COMMENT COMMENT COMMENT! :)) Get your friends to comment. Get your momma to comment!

You can find your ABC's at the store, mall, workplace, or home! This is a beat-the-heat event, so no pressure to shoot only outdoors.

Post your alphabet as soon as you have all of the letters! The winner will be the person with the most comments on their "A" picture! The winner will receive a free 18"x24" poster printing from ShortRunPosters.com of one of your letter images.
[NOTE: Since we first started the group, "Virtual" Photowalking have allowed us to keep shooting, even in the super hot weather. We only do them 2 or 3 times a year, so join in!]
Fine Print
To make life easier on those who are viewing your images ...
- Post your images whenever you're ready! You don't have to wait until August 29th ... THAT'S THE DEADLINE!
- Post images in alpha-order please!
- Post ALL of the Alphabet at once.
- You can "combine" images (see mine below), but not required.
- Winner is the person with the most comments on their "A" image.
- Printed winning image will be announced sometime in Mid-September.

Oh Margaret. :) The goal is to get folks off their couch and away from their computer ... with their camera. We won't be able to tell when a photograph was taken, but the spirit of the event is to use your camera for the next 2 months and train your eyes to compose images with letters. :)
