Photography junkie in the Sugar Land area.
I've been in this meetup group for about two years now and I absolutely love this group. The organizers are wonderful and do an amazing job of finding things for us to photograph. They take the time upfront to make sure we are welcome at the venue and provide tips for getting the most out of every meetup. You will also find photographers of every level with different areas of focus. There is a ton to learn from these friendly folks. One last thank you to all the organizers !!
Welcome, I'm so glad you joined. Photography is a great hobby and definitely one that you can incorporate into Mixed Media work in so many ways! I'd love to share that with you once you sign up for a workshop. If you're interested in the workshop coming up, you can RSVP to that and pay for it when you arrive either by check or cash. All materials are included. Let me know if you have any questions. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hello Lori! haha! I am a junky too.
Thank you for joining the HOUSTON DOWNTOWN PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS. If you are interested, in a couple of weeks I will start posting the date of the first Workshop and will continue thereafter until you find the one tailored for you. The Workshop cost will be determined by the level and if there are models and or locations used. They will range from $50-$130 for 3 to 5 hours. I am hoping that you can attend and I am looking forward to meeting you in person.
Hello Lori! Thanks for joining and welcome to the Houston Single Professionals, 30-50s group. I look forward to meeting you.
Hi Lori! Welcome to the FBM&M! We see bunches of movies and do a whole lot more! We have Game Nights, Happy Hours, go to concerts, Miller Outdoor Theater, brunches, hiking, shopping, dinners, holiday parties and Trivia Night at BWW! Please go the calendar soon and RSVP for something that interests you so we can meet you! If you have any questions let me know!
I read your comments about the Alaska trip (or questions more like). I just went to the Alaskan coast this past September and you definitely want a GOOD raincoat! I bought a cheap raincoat and wound up having to buy a Patagonia in Junea. Luckily it was on sale since the season was ending. Even pants for the rain and waterproof shoes would be good. Bring a mix of clothes you can layer easily, but you shouldn't need anything for below 40F if you are only doing the coast.
