Hey Matt, thanks for contacting me. Here is a bit of info on the three places you mentioned. Deep Ellum has lost of graffiti and places to eat. Not real busy during the day but very active at night. Mandalay Canals is cool but also not busy during the day on the weekends. It is a popular place for photographers for family portraits. Bishop Arts District has placed to eat and lots of people most any time of day. Enjoy your visit to Dallas

Wow! Love your intros with the new year 2010 resolution thing there LOL! So cool. Well, in our group you can shoot models from kids to 18+. We'll make sure that you we don't run out models to shoot.
For me every photographer have different sytles some have similiraties but, as long as a photographer put his/her passion into it, the images is going to be a masterpiece. I started learning the basics till now framing lots of shots, focus, exposures... now shooting models LOL! Welcome home Sir!

Wish I had gotten your message before this evening. A few of us went down to Newgulf this morning in the rain and photographed the old Texas Gulf Sulfur plant (in between raindrops). I wasn't sure I was going to go until yesterday; I didn't know if I could get a hall pass or not.

The next Wings and Wheels at Hobby is this Saturday, the 17th, from noon until 3. They are cutting it short this month. Let me know if you'd like to go down there with me.
