We meet at the Danny Jackson dog park which has separate sections for large and small dogs, covered benches, wading pools, and it is completely fenced in. This will be our meeting location for a long time.

Monthly round up of your neighborhood pugs (and FOP (friends of pugs)) and their humans. You can expect to see more and more pugs at each event as the summer heat subsides and the cool winter weather comes in.

Danny Jackson Dog Park on Westpark (near Newcastle).

Location: Just inside the loop and just South of 59 - under the power lines, on Westpark Drive between Loop 610 and Loop Central.

Amenities: Large and small dog seperate areas each with a pond, new trees, benches, walking path and beside it a regular children's playground will be added.

    • “ I had to leave early in part due to the heat. I really wish we could change tje time to 9AM during these hot months. Yes I know its getting up a little earlier on your day off, bit aren't your pugs worth it? One thing I always do is WET MY DOGS DOWN WITH THE HOSE OUTSIDE BEFORE WE ENTER THE GATE! MY dogs are the only PUGS running around without their tongues hanging out and panting. It makes a huge difference for them. Pugs can overheat so quickly it is incredible. Please try this trick, it works great! ”
