We meet at the Danny Jackson dog park which has separate sections for large and small dogs, covered benches, wading pools, and it is completely fenced in. This will be our meeting location for a long time.

Monthly round up of your neighborhood pugs (and FOP (friends of pugs)) and their humans. You can expect to see more and more pugs at each event as the summer heat subsides and the cool winter weather comes in.

Danny Jackson Dog Park on Westpark (near Newcastle).

Location: Just inside the loop and just South of 59 - under the power lines, on Westpark Drive between Loop 610 and Loop Central.

Amenities: Large and small dog seperate areas each with a pond, new trees, benches, walking path and beside it a regular children's playground will be added.

    unfortunately i have to work tonight & tomorrow night. y'all have fun. hopefully the boys can come play next month.

    10 am is really late for summer meet-ups - it is too hot for most pugs to be outside...

    • “ Will: I had so much fun at the park, and really enjoyed meeting all of the other pugs today. I got to see friendly faces that I remember from my not so great days and made new friends. Mom said I had to get a bath when I got home though, because I had muddy paws and legs...but that means I get COOKIES! Every pug loves cookies. So I went along with her plans (besides, if I smell good maybe I can sleep in the big bed. At least I get cookies.) See you next month. ”

      “ Me, Turbo and Dumplin the pugs and Tippy the terrier mix had a awesome time!! Since it was overcast it wasn't that hot; however, it still didn't stop Turbo from jumping into the pool!!!! ”
