We meet at the Danny Jackson dog park which has separate sections for large and small dogs, covered benches, wading pools, and it is completely fenced in. This will be our meeting location for a long time.

Monthly round up of your neighborhood pugs (and FOP (friends of pugs)) and their humans. You can expect to see more and more pugs at each event as the summer heat subsides and the cool winter weather comes in.

Danny Jackson Dog Park on Westpark (near Newcastle).

Location: Just inside the loop and just South of 59 - under the power lines, on Westpark Drive between Loop 610 and Loop Central.

Amenities: Large and small dog seperate areas each with a pond, new trees, benches, walking path and beside it a regular children's playground will be added.

More information and a MAP of the park can be found here:

    •  I always love this meet up each month. But folks DO need to be sure to watch their dogs' behaviors. Looking forward to next month! Cujo, Billy, Thor, Linda & Mike
    •  Very positive because I two foster pugs with me, and there seemed to be a lot of interest in them. Best way to help the rescue group.

I have never seen so many pugs in one place at one time. That was so exciting to see. I can't wait till next month.

This was my first meet up and it was so much fun. I was ony going to bring up my older pug Handsome because my younger pug Belle is not very social...or so i thought. When I saw all the pugs running around having so much fun I had my mom bring Belle up to the park so she could take part in all the excitment. She did so well with all the pugs. She really suprised me on how well she interacted with all of them. I will definately be at the next meet up and with both my pugs.
    •  I liked the way they tied balloons to the little adoptees. Precious.

       We had so much fun.
    •  We arrived a little late with our two pugs just as you finished taking the big group photo, so we weren't in it. We had so much fun, though. We have three dogs, and they have been asleep ever since we got back! We plan to go every month. Good fun for the kids, too!
    •  Geddy and Otis had a wonderful time meeting all of the pugs and pug friends. It was such a beautiful day!
