Heights Hyper-Local Meetup: help-a-n00b hack-night

  • Mar 24, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Second Verse Same as the First!

If you're new to Ruby or programing and have a project your working on, bring it to the team to get a constructive push through any hurdles your facing.

If you're an experienced Rubyist, come offer your help and guidance. Or, even bring a project to share with a n00b to help them "get it".

Also, if you just like Ruby, but can't make the meeting tomorrow (or just can't get enough of meet-ups in general) come on out.

Space for about 10-15, so if you can't make it please update your RSVP to make room for those who want to come out.

Join or login to comment.

Very cool, the format so far has pretty much been to bring in (or start) whatever project your working on and plug away at it. You can stop and ask questions when you get stuck, or let someone equally or less experienced help figure it out with you using the Google machine.

For those who haven't been before, parking is available in front of the building and anywhere along Nicholson St. We are the middle black door labeled 1329, come on in and up the stairs, the conference room is on the right.

Drinks are provided, however, if you're a snacker you'll need to bring your own munchies.

    See y'all tonight!

I'm pretty squarely in the newb category. Gone thru Rails for Zombies 1 & 2, and Ruby on codecademy, but that's about it. I want to work on developing a basic CMS for clients.

Glad to meet some RoR devs!

Middle of the road between newb and intermediate. Always up for some regular coworking meetups.
