Workshop: A Global Perspective for Worldbuilding

We will be having a moderated discussion with short presentations about multicultural and non-traditional sources for speculative fiction stories. Beyond the library of repetitive fairy tales and the Tolkien-esque generic Northern European setting, what does our fantastic world offer storytellers who want to mix things up? How do you find the inspiration, then research it, in order to do justice to the vast range of myth out there?
