Houston Atheists' BIG PARTY!

Our friends, the Houston Atheists, have invited us to join them at their BIG PARTY!

This party will be a celebration of the Houston Atheists 10 year anniversary, the winter solstice, and the Mayan end of the world, all roll into one event!

Our hosts are asking everyone to please bring a couple cans of food or other nonperishable food items, which will be donated to the Houston Food Bank. There will also be a raffle to benefit a new Smart Recovery program in Houston. Smart Recovery is a science based, secular alternative to AA designed to help people recover from drug and alcohol addiction without reliance upon a “higher power.”

Come on out and connect with other non-religious folks during the holiday season!

I have felt like I was on another planet ever since I arrived in Houston (almost 30 years ago) because so many people here wear their religion on their sleeve like it was a badge of some sort. I'm SO glad to learn there are people here that are familiar with that educational concept called "SCIENCE". Can't wait to meet with you and have a discussion based on reality. Sincerely,
    Norma

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
