Dynamic Yoga Therapy & Thai Yoga Massage Workshop

Sunday, June 29, 2 sessions: 10-12:30am and 2-4:30pm

Session one:
Dynamic Yoga Therapy Workshop: Shoulders and Wrists (2.5 hours)

Join us for a playful exploration through inversions followed by healing strategies for the shoulders, neck and wrists. You will not only come away with a clearer understanding of the anatomy of movement and relationship of the shoulders and wrists, but enjoy a fun, exploratory practice that will give you tools for making inversions accessible. Discover therapeutic ways to restore balance to the upper body.

Session 2:
Thai Yoga Massage (2.5 hours)

Thai Massage is a healing art that has been practiced since the time of Buddha and has it’s origins in both India and Thailand. Discover how this practice can foster the art of metta or loving kindness as you have an opportunity to practice with a partner in both giving and receiving. We learn several Thai Yoga massage sequences. It is not necessary to come with a partner, no experience necessary. There will be an additional half hour Q&A for teachers or students who wish to incorporate this into their asana practice. How to cultivate the art of mindful touch using Thai Yoga Massage assisted adjustments.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
